Mirziyoyev Attends Reception Hosted by Japanese Prime Minister in Honor of Central Asian Leaders

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the conclusion of the first day of his official visit to Tokyo, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended an official reception organized by the Japanese Prime Minister at the Akasaka Palace in honor of the leaders of Central Asian countries.

President Mirziyoyev was welcomed by Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. The event was also attended by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow.

It was noted that President Mirziyoyev’s meetings with the Japanese Prime Minister, as well as the key events of the first summit of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue, are scheduled for December 20.
