Mirziyoyev and Rahmon Open Tajikistan Embassy in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the state visit of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Uzbekistan, a ceremonial opening of the new Tajikistan Embassy building in Tashkent took place.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon cut the symbolic ribbon, officially inaugurating the diplomatic complex.

The leaders toured the extensive facility, which includes administrative buildings for the embassy and consular section, the ambassador’s residence, and housing for diplomats and their families.

The ceremony concluded with both presidents leaving commemorative entries in the Guest Book and planting trees on the embassy grounds.

The opening of the new diplomatic complex symbolizes the commitment of both nations to further strengthen Uzbek-Tajik relations, friendship, good-neighborliness, and strategic partnership.
