Minsk hosts a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the I Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 24 July, the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus hosted a meeting of the organizing committee on the preparation and holding of the First Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sahib Saifnazarov and Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nasirdjan Yusupov took part in the meeting of the Council of the Republic.

The First Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan will be held on 29-30 July in Minsk. The main event of the Forum on the theme “Cooperation of the regions is a key factor in the development of interstate relations” will be the Plenary Session, in which the participation of the heads of state is planned.

Also, more than 100 representatives of state bodies, economic associations and business of the Republic of Uzbekistan will participate in the Forum.

Within the framework of the Forum, it is planned to sign cooperation agreements between the regions of the two countries, commercial contracts, and other partnership documents.
