Minor Girl Returned from Khakassia to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk carried out a humanitarian operation to return a minor citizen to her homeland. The girl had been left without parental care in the Republic of Khakassia, Dunyo news agency reported.

All organizational matters were resolved jointly with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, including temporary placement of the child in the “Lastochka” orphanage and provision of necessary living conditions and supervision.

It is noted that the girl is healthy, with no medical conditions identified. In the near future, with the assistance of guardianship authorities, she will be transported to Uzbekistan.

The Consulate General continues to work on protecting the rights and interests of underage citizens of the country who find themselves in difficult situations abroad.
