Minor Boiler Explosion Reported at Men’s Disability Boarding School in Pop District, No Injuries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 January, a pressure release occurred in the boiler room of the “Muruvvat” boarding school for men with disabilities in Pop District, Namangan Region, caused by a technical malfunction.

According to the National Social Protection Agency, the incident was minor and no one was injured.

Authorities, together with relevant organizations, are investigating the causes of the incident and taking measures to restore the school’s heating system.
