Ministry of Justice tops the ranking of information and cybersecurity organizations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In accordance with the resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4024 from 21 November 2018 and No. PP-4452 from 14 September 2019, the Cyber Security Center compiles a rating for information and cyber security in government bodies and organizations.

The assessment is carried out on the basis of data provided by government agencies to the Cybersecurity Center as part of the information and cybersecurity monitoring system.

According to the Cybersecurity Center, the monitoring results for the second quarter of 2020 have been determined.

The Ministry of Justice tops the rating of organizations for the provision of information and cyber security. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice.

The top 10 organizations with the highest ratings included the Ministry of Justice, the State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, a number of banks and other organizations, including local executive authorities.

The Ministry of Justice, with 89.7 points, took the first position in the ranking.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Justice owns such major information resources as the National Database of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Lex.uz), the Unified Electronic System for the Development and Approval of Draft Normative Legal Acts (Project.gov.uz), a portal for discussion of draft normative legal acts. documents (Regulation.gov.uz), automated information system "Notary" (E-notarius.uz), portal of non-governmental non-profit organizations (E-ngo.uz), public services (Davxizmat.uz), information retrieval system "Intellectual mulk" other.

The uninterrupted operation of information systems, the development of "Electronic government", as well as compliance with the requirements of information and cyber security is ensured by the Center for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies in the bodies and institutions of justice.

In accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the openness of the activities of public authorities and administration", the websites of almost all bodies and institutions of justice function.

The Ministry of Justice is actively using the capabilities of popular social networks and instant messengers. In particular, the Telegram channels Huquqiy axborot, Legal Information and Legal Info operate, where news about changes in legislation, legal reforms, the essence and content of adopted regulatory legal acts are promptly posted in the state, Russian and English languages ... The total number of subscribers to these channels reaches almost 300 thousand.

In addition, to ensure targeted work with the population, additional information and legal resources have been created in the Uz domain. In particular, the National Legal Internet Portal (huquqiyportal.uz), the Children’s Rights website (bolahuquqlari.uz), the legal information portal Advice.uz and others.

The Ministry of Justice is one of the most transparent state structures, occupying leading positions in many ratings, including the rating of the effectiveness of the work of heads of press services, compiled by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In addition, according to the results of the Choice of the Year 2019 competition, organized by the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA), the Ministry of Justice took first place in the nomination “The Most Exemplary Ministry of 2019”.
