The Ministry of Internal Affairs underlined that a criminal case has been opened against Alisherbek Kadirov in suspicion of extortion and fraud in large and especially large size.

On 24 February, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan reported about detention of former Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan Rashitjon Kadirov.

Rashitjon Kadirov was detained on suspicion of extortion, abuse of power or official powers, as well as receiving bribes.
