The use of new scientific methods, lectures and reports, establishment of new scientific links for development of joint projects, participation in scientific events will be useful to researchers, scientists and students of both countries.
The parties agreed on organizing joint scientific and technological events, including meetings, conferences, symposiums, courses, seminars and exhibitions. The exchange of results of scientific and technical research will be a part of joint scientific and technological cooperation. Joint use of research and production facilities, scientific equipment, technology parks is expected.
The parties will implement joint projects in such areas as science, industrial research, manufacturing, innovation, medicine and health, agriculture, social and human sciences.
The sides agreed on cooperation in research and innovation within the framework of the European Union Framework Programs. The signing of the Protocol on Scientific Cooperation will create an opportunity for joint research on nanotechnology, genetic engineering, information technologies.
