Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Ferghana region, the last patient recovered from the coronavirus and was sent for rehabilitation.

Indeed, from the first days of the detection of coronavirus infection in our country, firm and systematic efforts were made to prevent the spread of infection and to effectively treat patients. As a result of these measures, the number of regions free of coronavirus infection is growing in our country.

The last patient, who was cured in Ferghana (a 40-year-old man), was from Altyaryk district and was infected as a result of contact with patients. Thus, thanks to the efforts of dedicated doctors in the region, all 157 patients fully recovered from coronavirus infection.

Naturally, this joyful event is based on the enormous contribution of medical personnel. Most importantly, the doctors took on a great responsibility, like combating a pandemic, using all their knowledge and experience, heroically fighting coronavirus and achieving effective results.

Currently, 2077 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection in the country.
