Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 April, a 54-year-old resident of Namangan was admitted to the regional infectious diseases hospital. Laboratory analysis showed the presence of coronavirus in a patient suffering from hypertension and diabetes.

According to the Ministry of Health, the patient was previously diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes. Based on the complications of these diseases, on 17 April, she was transferred to the intensive care unit of the regional infectious diseases hospital.      

Until today, the woman has been under the supervision of experienced doctors and specialists. However, despite the efforts of doctors, the patient died of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure on 22 April.
