Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan denied earlier information about the death of two citizens of Uzbekistan in an accident with a minibus and a truck that occurred on the night of 16 July on the Almaty-Yekaterinburg highway in Shet district of Karaganda region of Kazakhstan.
According to updated data, there were 18 passengers in the minibus. Eight of them died on the spot, all of them are citizens of Kazakhstan. Five citizens of Uzbekistan were injured: they are receiving medical care in the Aksu-Ayuli rural hospital, one of them was discharged for outpatient treatment.
