Ministry of Economy host meeting with correspondent of The Wall Street Journal

During the meeting, the reporter was acquainted with the significant changes in the economy of Uzbekistan in recent years and the Strategy for Further Development of the Country for 2017-2021.

The Minister of Economy Galina Saidova provided detailed information on the structural changes in industry, agriculture, the taxation system, customs and currency spheres, as well as the favorable business environment created in the country for development of private entrepreneurship and small business.

Issues of the current state and prospects of trade cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the foreign countries were also discussed.
