Ministry of Digital Technologies and UNESCO Present Preliminary Results of AI Readiness Assessment Project
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting of the steering committee for the project “AI Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) in Uzbekistan,” implemented with UNESCO’s support, was held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
The discussion involved Bobur Khodjaev, Head of the Department for Financial Technologies, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence under the Presidential Administration; Oleg Pekos, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies; and Sara Noshadi, UNESCO representative in Uzbekistan, who delivered reports on the project.
Participants were presented with the results of work carried out under the project, including preliminary findings on legal, socio-cultural, scientific, economic, and technological aspects of AI adoption.
Following the meeting, the next steps were outlined: expanding the circle of participants, possible adjustments to the project timeline, preparation for the second steering committee meeting, and an upcoming event within the framework of UNESCO’s General Conference.
