Ministries of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan discuss fighting crime

First Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan Major-General Davron Nazarmukhamedov met with First Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs of Kazakhstan Lieutenant-General Marat Demeuov.
During the talks, the sides discussed issues of further development of relations between the Ministries of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, including regional issues of mutual interest, the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The sides also discussed the issues of countering terrorism, separatism, extremism in all their manifestations, transnational organized crime, illegal migration, and human trafficking.
The delegations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanging experience in this field.
