Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Discuss Strengthening Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a substantive telephone conversation with Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister, Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
During the discussion, the two sides reviewed priorities for further strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.
It was noted that significant progress was achieved in 2025, and that even more extensive joint projects are planned for 2026.
The ministers emphasized that constructive engagement with neighboring states and the creation of a stable and prosperous future remain key objectives of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy.
