Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Central Asian Countries and Azerbaijan Visit the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, together with his counterparts from Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, visited the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent — one of the region’s largest cultural and educational projects.
According to the head of the Uzbek foreign ministry, the Center reflects the rich intellectual and spiritual heritage of the peoples of the region, who have made a significant contribution to the development of science, philosophy, art, and theology in the Islamic world.
“Our visit is a reminder that we are united not only by a shared history but also by a shared future. Strengthening cultural ties, deepening mutual understanding, and promoting our civilizational heritage remain key pillars of regional cooperation,” Bakhtiyor Saidov noted.
The event highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy and joint initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting the historical and scholarly heritage of Central Asia.
