Ministers of Economy of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria hold talks

During the meeting, the Uzbek side presented information on economic development of the country and programmes directed to development of small and private businesses, infrastructure, diversification of economy, etc.

The Uzbek side underlined positive experience of cooperation with Bulgarian Prista Oil, which participates in several projects in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek side noted that it is interested in expanding cooperation with Bulgarian firms in such areas as textile, footwear, food and pharmaceuticals.

Minister of Economy of Bulgaria Bojidar Loukarsky underlined that the Bulgarian side highly rate current state of the Uzbek-Bulgarian relations and pays great attention to development of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

He noted that the fourth session of the Uzbek-Bulgarian intergovernmental commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation and business forum will help to boost bilateral relations, including among business circles.
