Minister of Justice attends Global Governmental Response to COVID-19 Global Web Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Today, the Global Web Forum “Governmental Response to COVID-19,” organized by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAPSSI), was launched.

The global web forum is attended by ministers from around the world and senior officials of international organizations. Among the speakers of the forum will be attended by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ruslanbek Davletov.

Within two days, the web forum will become a platform for dialogue and exchange of experience, innovative approaches from different countries. The emphasis is on the current situation with mechanisms for the provision of public services, the crucial role of social innovation and smart solutions in the fight against COVID-19 and in the aftermath of the pandemic.

As emphasized at the opening of the web forum, the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 and its spread around the world forced the leadership of the countries to make urgent decisions. Governments have begun to implement innovative approaches and mechanisms to reduce the spread of the virus. The readiness of people for such regimes was not in doubt. Most states have introduced quarantine regimes. For the first time since World War II, people on Earth were quarantined and advised to isolate themselves. Ultimate pandemic treatments should now be developed only through joint efforts and the sharing of best practices for the well-being of society.
