Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 29 January, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov received a delegation of PJSC Gazprom headed by Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee V.A. Markelov. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

Also, the meeting was attended by the head of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullaev.

During the meeting, the current state of ongoing projects in the oil and gas industry was discussed. In particular, in the area of implementing Production Sharing Agreements for the Shakhpakhty and Jel deposits, as well as the potential for joint exploration work at promising investment blocks of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties noted great satisfaction with the results of the work done for 2019 in the field of exchange of experience, training and advanced training of personnel.

Along with this, further measures for the development of technological cooperation in the field of cooperation on the implementation of international standards were discussed.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the implementation of joint projects and the areas of cooperation being worked out.
