Minhojiddin Hojimatov leaves post of Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs

This can be understand from data at the website of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan, where in “Management” section the position of minister is indicated as vacant. The Government Portal of Uzbekistan also affirms resignation of Hojimatov.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov appointed Minhojiddin Hojimatov as Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan on 25 February 2013. Prior to appointment, he worked as first deputy chairperson of Uzbekistan National Television and Radio Company.
