On 25 August, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed ambassador, who handed a copy of his credentials to the Uzbek Minister.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the Uzbek-Latvian agenda, promising areas for further development of cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, as well as interaction in the format “Uzbekistan - European Union”.
The sides also discussed the practical aspects of forthcoming bilateral joint activities.
