MFAs of Uzbekistan and Georgia hold consultations
The sides considered current states and perspectives of the Uzbek-Georgian cooperation in political, trade-economic, transport-communication, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, as well as interaction in international arena, including within the UN, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The sides underlined positive dynamics of bilateral trade turnover, the volume of which reached US$60 million in January-August 2014, which significantly higher compared the same period of 2013.
At the meeting, the officials also exchanged opinion on expanding agreement-legal base of inter-governmental relations.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Uzbekistan Konstantin Jgenti participated in the consultations.
