Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In connection with the dissemination in social networks of information about an 80-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan A.Kh. on 3 January 2020, the Consulate General of our country in the city of Jeddah on the same day contacted him. He received the necessary consular legal assistance.

He said that he had agreed with private individuals to organize a trip to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of carrying out Umrah pilgrimage. He paid for a hotel, meals, and constant escort services. But on 1 January, after arriving through Bishkek and Istanbul at the airport of Jeddah, no one met him, although it was promised.

According to the Consulate General, with the support of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, our citizen received the necessary assistance, including the hotel. He is currently performing the holy rite of the Umrah.
