MetProm Group of Companies starts installation of the main technological equipment at Tashkent Metallurgical Plant
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the implementation of an EPC contract for the construction of the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant (TMZ, Republic of Uzbekistan), MetProm Group of Companies has begun installation of the main technological equipment: an etching unit of a push type, a reversing cold rolling mill, and units continuous hot dip galvanizing and polymer coatings.
Basically, the installation of foundations was completed at the facility and the preconditions for starting the installation of the main process equipment were completed, infrastructure facilities are being built, external networks are being installed, pipelines and energy carriers overpasses are under construction. Currently, about 300 thousand m3 of soil has been developed, moved and laid, more than 70 thousand m3 of reinforced concrete structures and about 9 thousand tons of metal structures have been erected.
MetProm Group continues to consistently fulfill its obligations to implement the EPC contract. The peculiarity of this project is that it is a Greenfield project. The specialists of MetProm Group are simultaneously assembling the main technological equipment and building infrastructure facilities: nitrogen and hydrogen stations, water treatment plants, treatment facilities, storage facilities, pipelines, roads and railways.
