Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Majlis of the Islamic Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. 

The high-ranking guest was met by the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddinjon Ismoilov.

During the visit, it is planned to meet the members of the delegation with the heads of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, visit historical and architectural monuments in Samarkand and Bukhara, sights of the country's capital.

The main part of the talks will take place tomorrow, on 13 July.
