Mehriddin Khayriddinov appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Consul General of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow Mehriddin Khayriddinov has been appointed as Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - head of the Department for the protection of rights and support of Uzbek citizens carrying out temporary work abroad and international economic cooperation.

Mehriddin Khayriddinov was born in 1977 in Gijduvan district of Bukhara region. He graduated in 1999 from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. He began his career as a teacher in a secondary school in his native region, later worked as an engineer, deputy head of the foreign economic relations department of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine.

He held the positions of a leading specialist at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan and in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2017, he was appointed Consul General of our country in St. Petersburg, and then at the Embassy in Moscow.

On 17 August, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting devoted to social, legal, material and cultural support of citizens working abroad, set specific tasks for the ministries and departments, diplomatic missions of our country in other states to solve the problems.
