Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 February 2020, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Farkhod Arziyev met with Secretary to the Minister of External Affairs of India, Vikas Swarup, in New Delhi, Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and India, including plans for joint activities for the current year.

Vikas Swarup highly appreciated the current dynamics of India – Uzbekistan dialogue in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

The parties also noted the importance of expanding trade-economic cooperation through implementation of joint and mutually beneficial projects.
