Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the President’s resolution “On measures to introduce a completely new system of training and continuous professional development of personnel in the health sector”, starting from 2020/2021 academic year, students of medical universities, who have an international certificate of a level of knowledge of a foreign language, regardless of the course of study (with the exception of students who study subjects of specialty for the assessment of "satisfactory") are paid an additional allowance in the amount of the basic scholarship (428,000 soums) for a monthly stipend.

Employees of state medical institutions who have completed the specialties of clinical residency (residency) and magistracy, as well as received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc) in universities, who took the first 200 places in the medical field of ratings of internationally recognized organizations, are paid a monthly additional allowance to the official salary in the following amount:

- to employees who have completed the specialties of clinical traineeship (residency) and master’s programmes - in an amount equal to 7 minimum wages (4 million 755 thousand 310 soums);

- to employees who received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc) - in an amount equal to 15 minimum wages (10 million 189 thousand 950 soums).
