Media camp starts in Tashkent region

The camp was organized by Fund Forum, National Association of electronic mass media of Uzbekistan, Center for Youth Initiatives Kelajak Ovozi, Council of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federations, OSCE and UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan, Konrad Adenaur Foundation and Creative Union of journalists.

Annual media camp is organized to improve skills of young crew of local TV stations. Local and foreign specialists are attracted to hold seminars and trainings.

This year, the seminars and trainings are conducted by Micheal Brassert and Brook McDonald of the United States, Shakhnoza Ganieva, Galina Melnikova, Navbakhor Mamadjanova and others.

The camp is organized to help further development of young specialists of TV stations through theoretical and practical lessons. The participants will learn using new TV formats, coverage of health and ecology issues, etc.

The training camp will also include a meeting on interaction of mass media and NGOs to ensure effective implementation of social projects. The event will be attended by MPs, representatives of NGOs and others.
