Medalists of Asian Games receive money prizes
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
An awarding ceremony of the 17th Asian Games in Incheon (South Korea) was held at Museum of Olympic Glory in Tashkent on 11 October 2014.
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed an order on awarding winners and medalists of the Asian Games with money prizes on 8 October. The sum of the awards was not disclosed.
Asian Games took place in Incheon from 19 September to 4 October 2014. Uzbek athletes won 9 gold, 14 silver and 21 bronze medals.
