Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President’s resolution “On measures to attract external assistance to support the population, budget, basic infrastructure and business entities during the coronavirus epidemic” was adopted.

The resolution approved the Roadmap for attracting grants and concessional long-term financing for measures to counteract the negative consequences of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Also, the resolution approved the composition of the Coordination Group for attracting grants and concessional long-term financing in the framework of the preparation and implementation of investment tasks and identified its key tasks.

The tasks of the coordination group are the timely and high-quality implementation of the Roadmap, the implementation of expedited mechanisms for the procurement of goods and services at the expense of international financial institutions.

By the resolution, a number of ministries were determined by the executive responsible agencies responsible for the efficient borrowing of funds, their effective and targeted use.
