Mayors of Tashkent and Seoul discuss cooperation issues

The sides discussed expansion of trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian relations between Tashkent and Seoul.

The guests were acquainted with the projects on modernization of transport and engineering infrastructure, dynamic development of industry and entrepreneurship in Tashkent.

Mayor of Seoul Park Won Soon expressed interest in a comprehensive, systematic and long-term partnership with the city of Tashkent. He highly appreciated the plans for development of Uzbek capital until 2030 and expressed his desire to participate in this work on the basis of South Korea’s experience in the areas of urban planning, transport, information technology, service and others.

The heads of the two cities agreed to organize mutual trips of business representatives to Tashkent and Seoul, as well as to attract investments in the sphere of small business, establishment of direct contacts between entrepreneurs.
