Maxam-Chirchiq contributes to stability

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Maxam-Chirchiq JSC is a business entity that continues to operate at full capacity and replenish the budget during the quarantine period. This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Committee.

The enterprise is one of the largest producers of mineral fertilizers and other chemical products in Uzbekistan, as well as one of the bona fide taxpayers.

It produces more than 40 types of chemical products - carbamide, ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, ammonia, nitric acid, carbon dioxide and others.

They are used in many industries, for example, in the chemical, electronic, metallurgical, textile, food and agriculture. This is especially important now that the republic has taken a course towards increasing the procurement of agricultural products.

For the first quarter of this year, Maxam-Chirchiq sold products worth about 568 billion soums. The development of additional projects is planned, namely the release of 8 new types of products. In general, the forecast for production for 4 months of 2020 is 110% complete.

The quarantine did not affect the productivity of the enterprise: quarantine compliance measures were quickly taken at the facility, allowing to save the work process without dismissing the personnel.

Each of the 6,236 employees receives timely wages and payments corresponding to the working regime. The workflow, namely the receipt of letters and written appeals, temporarily switched to electronic format. The reception of legal entities and individuals has also been temporarily suspended.

Every month, the company pays a number of taxes to the state budget: land tax, property tax, tax for the use of water resources, value added tax, income tax, personal income tax, social tax. Each payment is made on time on time according to the established taxpayer calendar.

In April, the company provided tax revenues to the budget in the amount of 30.1 billion soums, and for 4 months of the current year - 64.1 billion soums. The country needs these funds more than ever.

One of the largest taxpayers in Uzbekistan is betting on a transparent tax policy. A conscientious and responsible attitude to tax obligations is an important contribution to the stability of the country's economy.
