Market services in Uzbekistan reaches 23.308 trln. soums in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The total volume of market services by all kinds of economic activity in Uzbekistan made up 23.308 trillion soums in January-March 2012, including 5.154 trillion soums of the rural area, or 22.1% of total rendered services.

The state Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in comparison with January-June 2011, the real increase of market services was 14%.

The high growth rates have been achieved in the following services: communication and information – 26.9%; repairs and maintenance of agricultural equipment – 24.6%; tourism (including hotel) – 22.8%; personal – 22.6%; computer programming – 18.9%; financial – 16%; trade and catering – 15.6%.

The following services prevailed in the structure of services: transport (including logistical) (30.1% of total services), trade and catering (20.3%), financial (9%), communication and information (6.3%).
