Manchester City’s Abdukodir Khusanov Becomes Most Valuable Player from Post-Soviet Space

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdukodir Khusanov, defender for the Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City, has become the most highly appreciated footballer from the post-Soviet region in 2025, according to data from Transfermarkt.

Over the year, Khusanov’s transfer value increased by €23 million, reaching €35 million, marking the largest growth among players in the region.

Second place in the ranking went to Matvey Kislyak, midfielder for Moscow’s CSKA, whose market value rose by €18.8 million to €20 million.

Third place was taken by Aleksey Batrakov, midfielder for Moscow’s Lokomotiv, who increased in value by €17 million, with a current transfer valuation of €25 million.
