Manchester City Announces First Regional Partnership in Central Asia with Artel Electronics
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Manchester City has today signed an agreement with Artel Electronics, the largest consumer electronics manufacturer in Central Asia, whose portfolio includes the brands Artel, Shivaki, and Avalon.
Under the new agreement, the company will become the Club’s Official Regional Partner, as well as the exclusive television partner of Manchester City in Uzbekistan and other key countries in the region. This marks the club’s first-ever partnership in Central Asia and the first time a Premier League club has entered into a commercial agreement with an Uzbek brand.
The partnership coincides with a pivotal moment for football in Uzbekistan: following the country’s historic first FIFA World Cup qualification and the emergence of local talent. It is aimed at developing the rapidly growing football market in Uzbekistan and strengthening the connection between the club and the region.
Fans can expect new opportunities to engage with the club through joint campaigns, promotions, digital content, and other activities.
Kaitlyn Beale, Vice President of Global Partnership Sales at City Football Group, commented, “We are delighted to announce this new regional partnership with Artel Electronics. The growing interest in the club from Uzbekistan and Central Asia is strong, and this agreement strengthens our presence in the region.”
Nodir Hikmatullayev, Head of Marketing at Artel Electronics, added, “The partnership with Manchester City marks a new era for our country. Together, we want to bring world-class football into the homes of fans across Uzbekistan and Central Asia, inspire the next generation of talent, and demonstrate what the brands of New Uzbekistan can achieve on the global stage.”
