Management Reshuffle at NGMK: Jahongir Khasanov Appointed First Deputy CEO
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Yevgeny Antonov has stepped down as First Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NGMK) after 3.5 years in the role, according to the Unified Corporate Information Portal. He has also been removed from the company’s list of affiliated persons.
On 24 December 2025, NGMK’s Supervisory Board decided to appoint Jahongir Khasanov as First Deputy CEO for Finance, Transformation and Privatization, effective from 1 January 2026.
Jahongir Khasanov was born in 1979. He graduated from the Navoi State Mining Institute in 2000 and completed his studies at the Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers in 2024.
Khasanov began his professional career at Navoiyazot, where he held senior management positions from 2000 to 2010. Between 2010 and 2021, he served as head of departments and directorates within NGMK’s financial and economic division.
From 2022 to 2023, Khasanov headed the state enterprise Navoiuran.
He subsequently returned to NGMK as Deputy CEO for Economics and Finance, a position he held until the end of 2025.
