Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 April 2020, during an operational event, officers from the Kibray district police department found that 40-year-old N.V., from mid-January, had been growing green plants with a specific smell on two flower pots, which were seized in the presence of witnesses.
According to the conclusion of the forensic chemical examination, the seized 3 plant stems belong to drug-containing plants and are cannabis plants. This was reported by the press service of the Investigation Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On this fact, the Investigative Department at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kibray district initiated a criminal case under part 1 of article 270 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (illegal cultivation of drug-containing plants). A preliminary investigation is currently underway.
