Malaysian media report about relics of Islam, carefully preserved in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Popular Malaysian newspaper BERITA HARIAN published a detailed article under the headline “The Quran with the blood of Usman was preserved in Uzbekistan”, dedicated to the most ancient manuscript of the Quran still preserved in Tashkent in the Madrasah Muyi Muborak, part of the Khazrati Imam Ensemble.

A Malaysian journalist describes in detail the history of the writing of the holy book, the respectful attitude to this relic by caliph Usman, as well as his death while reading a manuscript. The author emphasizes that after the death of the third Caliph Uthman, his successor, the fourth Caliph Ali, took the Samarkand Qufic Quran from Medina to Kufa (Iraq). However, 700 years later, the great commander Amir Temur conquered Iraq and delivered the manuscript to Samarkand.
