Machinery industry of Uzbekistan produces goods for 4.52 trln. soums

Enterprises of machinery industry of Uzbekistan produced industrial products for 4.521 trillion soums in January-July 2012, which grew by 8.9% yearon-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
In particular, Uzbekistan increased production of energy saving lamps by 6.1 times, air-conditioners by 5.1 times, refrigerators and freezers – 7.7%. The country is also increasing washing machines, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, etc.
The country also increased agriculture equipment. For example, the production of balers rose 2.5 times, syringes – 2.4 times, ploughs – 2.1 times, seeders – 1.7 times and cultivators – 4.7%.
Uzbekistan increased production of bare wire by 1.4 times, winding and enameled wire by 1.3 times, control cables by 1.2 times, and installation wire – by 17.6%.
The country also increased output of lifts by 85.2%, rotary pump – by 8.4%, crane by 6.7% and accumulators by 6%.
