Lost Girl in Chimgan Reunited with Her Family

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An eight-year-old girl named Sabina from the Samarkand region, who had gone missing in the Chimgan tourist area while vacationing with her parents, has been safely reunited with her family. The incident occurred at one of the resort’s most popular locations.

According to the Road Safety Service, the child was located in the shortest possible time thanks to the coordinated and prompt actions of officers from the Tashkent Region internal affairs bodies, the National Guard, the Traffic Police, and the tourist police. The girl was found safe and unharmed and was returned to her parents.

The agency noted that in tourist zones, attention is often focused on traffic flows and congestion, but cases of children getting lost in crowded recreational areas remain an equally important concern. In this instance, the positive outcome was made possible by the vigilance and professionalism of law enforcement personnel.

The Road Safety Service urged parents and visitors to tourist areas to exercise increased caution, not to leave children unattended, to explain in advance how to act if they become separated, and to keep them close in crowded places. The agency emphasized that ensuring the safety of citizens and tourists remains a priority, and that relevant services are ready to provide prompt assistance.
