London hosts British-Uzbek Forum “Pearl of East”

The Forum is organized by the Haven Wolverhampton NGO (Great Britain), Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF, Uzbekistan), Center for social-economic development SABR (Samarkand region of Uzbekistan), Parliamentary commission on management of resources of the Public Fund on support of NGOs and other institutes of civil society under the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan at the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Great Britain and Embassy of Great Britain in Uzbekistan.

The forum is aimed at presenting model of developing civil society in Uzbekistan, successful examples of social partnership with third sector in solving social tasks of improving quality of life of people, exchanging opinion on strategy of cooperation among civil society institutes.

About 150 people from civil society institutes, diplomatic corps, legislative bodies, scholars from France, Russia, United States, Nigeria and other countries will attend the event.
