Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 May 2020, police officers in Kitab district of Kashkadarya region detained a dealer with 403.5 grams of marijuana, packaged in 99 matchboxes, worth 20 million soums.

The police officers detained local resident at the age of 46.

On the same day, at about 21:30, the house of the dealer was examined and 3.7 grams of marijuana was found.

In addition, on the upper part of the front door there was discovered an adhesive packaging containing the seeds of the cannabis plant, all the matchboxes and adhesive packaging that were found were removed in the prescribed manner.

On this fact, the Investigation Department at the Department of Internal Affairs of Kitab district initiated a criminal case under part 5 of article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Illegal sale of narcotic drugs, their analogues or psychotropic substances in large quantities).
