Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24-28 February 2020, a delegation of the Republic of Lithuania headed by Vice Speaker of the Sejm Irena Šiaulene will visit Uzbekistan.

According to the information of the Embassy of our country in Riga, the delegation will include the chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Group of Cooperation with the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan in the Sejm of Lithuania, Valerius Simulik, deputy ministers of education, science and sports Valdemaras Razumas and Cornelia Tisnisiesite, as well as members of parliament, representatives of educational and public circles.

The program of the visit of the Lithuanian delegation inludes meetings with the leadership of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, ministries of public education, higher and secondary specialized education, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as in the khokimiyats of the cities. The Lithuanian delegation will also take part in the international educational exhibition EDUFAIR - Education and Career Exhibition - 2020 in Tashkent and Samarkand.
