Licensing of appraisal organizations and the categorization of appraisers to be conducted the State Assets Management Agency

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On measures to further improve appraisal activities and simplify implementation mechanisms for low-profitable and inactive enterprises with state participation” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, the licensing of appraisal organizations and the categorization of appraisers is carried out by the State Assets Management Agency.

Earlier this activity was licensed by the State Committee on Competition.

Evaluation is an activity aimed at determining the value of objects.

Until 1 December 2019, a single national standard for the assessment of objects will be approved, regardless of the form of ownership.

From 1 August 2019, appraisers are categorized.

The categorization results will be published on the websites of the Agency for State Assets Management, the Association of Appraisal Organizations and the Society of Appraisers of Uzbekistan.

From 1 January 2020, a rating of appraisal organizations will be introduced.
