Legislative Chamber discusses draft law to speed up implementation of state property facilities

Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan discussed a draft law in the second reading, which introduces amendments and additions to the legislation in accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to further simplify procedures and speed up the sale of state property for use in entrepreneurial purposes”.
The law envisages introduction of amendments to the Tax Code, laws “On Denationalization and Privatization”, “On State authorities in the places”, “On Joint Stock Companies and Protection of Shareholder Rights”, “On Valuation Activities”, “On Protection of Private Property and Guarantees of the Rights of Owners” to simplify procedures and speeding up the process of realization of the state objects.
This will improve existing legislative acts and create favorable conditions for the development of private entrepreneurship through the organization of production of competitive goods and services.
