Legislative Chamber approves amendments to some laws

Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed a draft law on introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts in connection with adoption of the law “On assessment of compliance” in the first reading.
The draft law directed at single use of terminology and legal norms of the legislation to avoid different interpretation, etc.
The document envisages to introduce changes to laws “On metrology” and “On certification of products and services”.
After discussions, the MPs approved the concept of the law and passed it in the first reading.
