Legislative Chamber adopts law “On social partnership”
The document determines notion, subjects, principles and main spheres of social partnership, interaction of the state bodes with other civil society institutes, forms and ways of participation of the civil society institutes in solving public and social problems, etc.
The law envisages creation of public commissions on social partnership under Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan, Councils of People’s Deputies of the regions and Tashkent city, as well as formation of targeted funds under the representative bodies in places to support NGOs and other civil society institutes.
The public commissions will work like Parliamentary commission on management of resources of Public Fund on support of NGOs under Oliy Majlis.
The document will allow to create single system of interaction between the state and civil society, as well as strengthen legal guarantees for their constructive dialogue.
The law will help to improve role of NGOs and civil society institutes, take into account interests of population in implementation of social-economic development programs and development of laws.
The law was prepared based on analyzes of legislation and practice of foreign countries and international law.
