Leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan visit exhibition of paintings and graphic works
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the cultural program of his visit to Almaty, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Abylkhan Kasteyev National Museum of Arts.
The two leaders were introduced to the works of outstanding artists, including Abylkhan Kasteyev, the founder of Kazakh fine arts, and Ural Tansykbayev, a renowned Uzbek painter. The exhibition served as a vivid representation of the rich artistic heritage shared by the two nations, reflecting their cultural affinity and centuries-old ties.
During the visit, the heads of state emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation in the field of art, highlighting the significance of joint exhibitions, festivals, and other cultural initiatives aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and fostering dialogue between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
