Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 April, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

During the call, the two heads of state discussed important matters related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Special attention was given to accelerating the implementation of joint projects and programs in areas such as trade and economy, investment, and humanitarian initiatives.

The leaders also reviewed plans for upcoming high-level meetings. In conclusion, they exchanged views on regional cooperation, including within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
